Walt's Waltz Hosts Mental Health First Aid for Adults 2 Day Certification Course - Part One

Walt's Waltz is a compass and a megaphone for mental health support, education, and change. In keeping with our mission, we are excited to announce upcoming educational courses.

After signing up, we will send you an email and calendar invite with information including the Zoom link. (Must be 18 and over to take the course.)

This course takes place over two days:

Friday May 21 from 9:00 - 1:00 and May 24 from 9:00 - 12:00

  • To receive your 3-Year Certification in MHFA and your manual, you must attend both sessions.

Topics covered in this courses are listed below:

* Depression and mood disorders
* Anxiety disorders
* Trauma
* Psychosis
* Substance Use disorders

Mental Health First Aid teaches about recovery and resiliency – the belief that individuals experiencing these challenges can and do get better, and use their strengths to stay well.
