Changing Minds – a new approach to understanding and treating depression in young people
Young People’s Mental Health new approach to understanding and treating depression in young people, stakeholder consultation document - Permissions YPMH
This new report from YPMH, Changing Minds, has four key ambitions:
To explain why we urgently need a new approach to understanding and treating depression in young people.
Toset out as causal pathways what is already known about the psychological, biological and social causes of depression, and use this as a starting point for discussion and to help us identify the most promising opportunities for innovation.
To show how innovation and technology management techniques developed at the University of Cambridge can help us build consensus about what a new approach to treating depression should look like – and the steps we need to take to make it happen.
To engage the whole community of researchers, clinicians, policymakers, research funders, healthcare managers, regulators, pharmaceutical and medtech companies, patients and their families in our ambition
