Dr. Niculescu is the Founder/Chairman/CEO of MindX Sciences. He developed the proprietary technologies licensed by the company. Trained as a researcher and clinician at the Scripps Research Institute and University of California at San Diego, he is currently a Professor of Psychiatry and Medical Neuroscience at Indiana University School of Medicine. He is also on the staff of the Veterans Hospital in Indianapolis, and completed an Executive MBA at IU Kelley School of Business. Dr. Niculescu is the recipient of prestigious national and international awards in the field of psychiatric genomics, and is internationally known for his work on precision medicine for mental health.
